Keeping an eye on the world through her window, an aging Mrs Baxter leads a quiet life - alone. When a newly wedded couple move in upstairs, Mrs Baxter's suspicions grow as she revisits her own past.
A short film about the past's influence on the present, "Upstairs" was written and directed by Johnny Grieco and Tim Swaddling while attending the University of Windsor in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The film was shot during the months of March and April 2007 with no budget and a small crew on location in Windsor, Ontario. The film could not have been made without the generous assistance of Min Bae and Studio 5.
